Does anyone know how to work out the amount of money I will lose? My student loan comes to a total of £5760 over the year.
Thanks everyone for your help0 -
It depends on a lot of factors, ie how many weeks of the year your finance is split over and what disregards apply to you. At a guess, you'd keep a little of it, but I couldn't be any more specific than that I'm afraid.
I'm on contributions based and when this ends in Feb, I won't qualify for income based ESA because of my course funding - but I'm an MA student on a bursary, so my funding is totally different to yours. Ring your Uni's welfare advisers on Monday and they should be able to do the calculations for you.0
