Yes another one, sorry.
Retweet comps, if you retweet someone else's retweet, does that count???

Apparently it doesn't matter. Or so everyone has been saying on FB. I always thought it had to be the original, so I've been searching for the original one.
I don't think anyone actually knows with twitter! xDecember Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
Do you think other people mind if you retweet their retweets? Lots of people retweet mine and it does not matter to me, but I wonder if it is considered bad etiquette.0

It doesn't take two seconds to open in a new tab, and that way you make sure you aren't being disqualified. Or Copy and Paste.
But, each to their own really

I realised that sounded a bit harsh... xDecember Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
Can I add another twitter question here rather than starting a new thread?
Signed up yesterday, all I have been doing is following and retweeting for comps, and have now been suspended for too many mentions, whatever that is. Can someone explain what has happened and how I avoid this in future please?
Thanks0 -
Make sure you spread them out over the course of the day. so do a few then wait for an hour, do a few more. You'll find you can tweet more later without being suspended.
I'm not too sure how long a suspension lasts though. A mention is a Retweet, you can be suspended for following too many people in one go too.
I don't actually know what the limit is, I didn't hit mine yesterday and I think they will have different limit for how much you tweet and how long you have been a member.
Hope that helps xDecember Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
Thank you. I'll truy spreading them out, but there are so many twitter comps and they are so quick and easy to do!0

Read in another thread here that twitter consider accounts where only retweets done as a "spam" accounts. Well, I do not explain it as good as it was explained there.
Anyway, as an action:
1. tweet something of your own. If you have no idea what, say something like. "hard job, entered 100 comps today", or whatever you do, like "whole week without any prize".
2. somewhere here not far below there is a thread where people exchange "lolowings", i.e. you'll be followed by another com-fan fellow. This way your accoun will look more like "no-spam" account0 -
i read (from someone on twitter) that if you retweet a person's retweet then it disqualifies both you and the person who's tweet youve retweeted.
is that not the case then?0
