Tesco?s
To explain, I askede where to buy pots for xmas planting, ie, just about right now.
No one in my area has stock, but some bright spark suggested planting Carlottes from Tescos. Sound idea, Charlottes should work well
The jury is still out.
Now these are not treated to be seed potatoes as we know, I put mine on a window cill 2 weeks ago and they rotted. The 2nd lot bought on Thurs were planted today. we'll see;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Yep, Charlotte from the likes of Lidl
They do need a cold spell, to mimic winter, so bung in fridge for a fornight
Then just plant in a large tub. bucket, sack etc [with drainage holes] and earth up as they grow
As the weather cools the foliage will die back, try and keep near house walls for a bit of shelter & warmth
Not for a major crop, but more for novelty, new spuds at New year for instnaceEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
