How to Clean painted masonry

The exterior of my house is very grubby and it's all painted and textured.
I'm trying to clean it off, as the bottom part under the porch around the bays is the dirtiest, the top half of the house isn't too bad, so would be better if I don't have to repaint.
I don't have a pressure/power washer and no way of getting water to the front of the house anyway.
I've tried washing up liquid, I then tried neat bleach and scrubbing and it hasn't done much.
I've left neat bleach on it and planning on leaving this overnight
Has anyone got any other ideas to try before repainting
I'd just prefer not to repaint because if i do the bottom then the top half will look dirtier and I don't know that my ladder is long enough to paint the top!
thank you

use sandtex fungicide solution , put it on with a nylon brush and most of the crud ,if mould etc will come off without too much scrubbing, wear suitable goves and safety glasses0

there isn't any mould, it's just dirt. do you think it would work?0
-
if it's just dirt , give it a scrub with water and a bit of sugar soap0
-
thanks, i'll give sugar soap a go tomorrow
although would've thought bleach should've shifted it

If it's just dirt, then you'll probably need a brush. *Lightly* apply a stiff brush over it.0

Although I agree with all the above, if bleach hasn't shifted it by tomorrow, I'd suggest you will have to repaint it to bring it back to your required standard.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
