Game Pricing Error

Hi,
I recently found a pre-owned wii u console on Game website for 13.99. As this was a bargain i ordered one. I recieved an email to say my order was confirmed. Later in the day i recieved another to confirm my order had been cancelled (I hadnt cancelled this), following this i recieved another email to explain due to a pricing error on Game's website my order had been cancelled and i had been refunded. The company admitted it was their fault this error was made.
I was just wondering if i have any rights to get what i originally ordered at the original displayed price or any compensation for the inconvienience?
Thanks
Siany

Unfortunately the contract is only accepted by Game when they despatch the goods (as per their T's and C's). Therefore they can cancel in this instance.0

Read the sticky "Do shops have to sell at the advertised price" right above this thread. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

To be fair it was never going to be honoured and most people would have taken a punt and moved on if it was rejected. Why would they give you compensation? They cancelled the order as it was an error and refunded the money so how exactly its inconvenienced you i don't know.0

They can claim the item is sold out and refund you.
They do not require to sell you mispriced items at the wrong price.
As for compensation. Do i get compensation if I travel to spain on holiday where I was told it would be sunny and it pours with rain for that couple of weeks, eh, no.0 -
Not this again, a quick Google or even reading the sticky at the top of this page would have told you the answer0

Just been into tesco in staines and the colour and design salon barbie had a price error, they were priced as £2.20. The lady who served me said they came through today as a price error but as they can't do anything they have to sell them at that price. I got the last two but worth checking other stores!YOU'VE GOT TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT :j:j0

That may be their policy, but it's certainly not something they are legally obliged to do. Great bargain though!
Best to take it through the self-service till though
