cannot fix domain/forum emails getting through to my gmail inbox

Hi :-)

Bought first domain and hosting package, with Namecheap about 3 days ago. Also first forum, SMF, after having run a facebook group, and now expanding that into the forum. Have spoken with Namecheap a number of times now, who have been great, and on 2 occasions staff have joined the forum in order to investigate the email issues, which do resolve ... but, as soon as they shift things from their [email]test@*****.org[/email] back to [email]admin@*****.org[/email], all mail stops getting to my gmail inbox.
Site testers due in today, for launch next week, for a large group who are very keen indeed to get in the doors, and am rather stressed to try to understand and fix this email issue. Entirely new to all of this, but, pointed in the right direction, can certainly follow through any advice.

What type of gmail account do you have?
Is it the standard Gmail account or "Gmail for Business"?
Their is some things you can't do with a standard Gmail account.

Few things you can check:
Check that admin@ is not being put into a spam folder.

Check your gmail account for a "CatchAll" address:

If the site is forwarding emails to a standard Gmail account best check the site settings to make sure the forwarding details are correct.

If your Gmail account is picking up the emails form the site then make sure the info in the "accounts" tab is correct and gmail can pick up the emails.
