Engagement ring loose stone

Hi all ,

My fianc! bought a engagement ring within last 2 months and last month we became engaged :rotfl::j I noticed the last few days the stone moves . He has receipt but it's out of 30 day guarantee and he didn't take out extra cover , due to length of time is he covered by the any 12 month warranty or anything ?

Take it back and give them the chance to make good - though I would push for a refund personally.

If they wont make good, contact trading standards.

Th ring was clearly not fit for purpose when sold.

I would also get it checked independently if they fix or replace it.

How do you know that? Settings on engagement rings can easily be caught on clothing etc.

I took it back to shop and they agreed it shouldn't be happening as such short time owning ring it has been sent off to be fixed
