Solicitor just called to check before she proceeded, formal exchange taking place by end of today.

Four more weeks till we move in.

It's been a rough year for various reasons (serious illness, two surgeries etc) and i'm so glad we carried on and still proceeded with buying a house, didn't let it distract us.

4 bedroom detached for me, wife and our 4 year old son.

    YAY! :j

Good luck to you. After that spate of bad stuff, it will be good to have this come together for you at last.

Nerves do wear very thin come the "Surely Exchange shoulda happened by now" time. Tell me about it....I think I'll probably have turned alcoholic if this "shoulda been by now" stage goes on much longer personally....

There's always something and my personal fear is that the first signs are evident that some other people have spotted my little "hidden gem" of a place I am moving to....grrrrrr!

Good luck to you for the future.
