We're considering a long weekend in Belfast in December to see a band at Mandela Hall. Flights over would land us around 10am Friday and we'd fly back around 8pm Sunday.
I've seen a reasonable deal on the Hilton.
Just wondered if anyone could help with the following-
How do we get in from the airport- quickest or cheapest options.
Is the Hilton central enough for food/ drink as potentially weather could be iffy and I struggle to walk on snow or ice!
Finally- suggestions on things to do during the days- we are a relatively young couple and farly open minded. Not desperate to do Titanic unless people genuinely think its unmissable.
Many thanks in advance- we've not booked yet, want to sleep on it!,

When we went we used Belfast City Airport and it was easy to get a bus to or from the centre. We arrived about the same time as you will be arriving and got the complementary bus (which was for the long stay car park which was a 2 minute journey) to the train station to go to Cultra for the Folk and Tranport Museum which was great as there is a reconstructed old village with staff in traditional costume (left our hand lugguage at the entrance desk and collected on the way out). It is a small airport and a 20 minute bus journey from there or a quick train journey. We found Belfast to be a compact city with most places easy walking. There were lots of places to eat and drink and a nice shopping area. We hired a car for a couple of the days and did the Giants Causeway. We went in summer but friends of ours went to the Giants Causeway at the ned of December and enjoyed the experience.0
