ASDA take a single mugshot & print 6 passport sized copy images for 64 pence. So far, while I wait!
Beats the £5 for 5 shots machines sideways! OK, not Boots, but So Easy!

My self-shot of passport photo was rejected at a local Post Office due to shades in background. I had to take a photo there and then to save another trip. Apart from the cost, it makes me feel shamed to show my passports now due to the nasty looking picture there...

So long as the passport is accepted, don't stress about the photo.
We've a family lament "if this keeps up, I'm going to look like my Passport Photo" that predates the no smiling rule by decades...
Even now balding family members use it, which always *baffled* us children.

Or, upload a photo here http://www.epassportphoto.com/ and print out one photo at Asda, Tesco etc ;)

Am I doing something wrong here as I can't get anywhere without making payment - can someone please advise if they have recently tweeked the site, or if it's something I am doing wrong ?

    TIA

    **Now sorted**

I hadn't noticed the 'No thanks' button to progress through to the free photo sheet.
  • A little warning to people!! We got ours done in Asda but when we got to the Post Office they weren't to passport guidelines so we ended up at Max Spielmann getting some more done (which were correct), so although the Asda ones were only 64p and we thought we were saving money, it was actually false economy as we ended up spending more!

These links will be useful for my son who is off to uni and seems to need quite a few passport pics though. Thanks.

Will have a go at doing ourselves if not off to Asda.

last October I needed to renew my kids passports, I took photos against a white wall and printed them out on a inkjet printer, sent them off and got the new passports without any issue at all.
