Hi all, wasn't too sure where to post this so hope someone can help.
Long an short of it I purchased a bed fromJL sept last yr. noticed today that the bed frame has snapped.

    Hi
Maybe try the Consumer Rights section of the forum for advice?

There is definitely something in the law about lasting a reasonable amount of time. So I would think you have some claim. Thats assuming its only had 'normal' usage I would suppose.
Whether for a replacement or if a repair would be considered acceptable legally I don't know.

hi, Have you tried ringing john lewis directly. They usually have guarantees on most products and are really helpful
  • Hi, thanks. I found out the original receipt. £730!!!! they are getting an engineer to call me to come and assess it. I'll keep the thread updated.
    Thanks.
