you will get hit with 2 lots of fees. Is it because both cards are actually operated by the same provider?I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Last night I applied for the LTSB 1.5% fee to try and transfer £10K from Virgin but LTSB only offered a credit limit of £6K.
Do other providers offer better limits?0 -

Seems no one wants to BT from a Virgin Card.0 -
I don't understand, I've recently transferred money from my Virgin (MBNA) CC to a Halifax card.0

If you've "transferred money" from Virgin to Halifax you've BT'd from Halifax to Virgin.
The OP, and others, are BTing from Virgin to Halifax (and LBG cards).
Unless you meant to say "balance transferred" from Virgin to Halifax"?0 -

You've applied for it and the application will be on your credit file. So you may as well use it.
Then how quickly you can pay off the remainder will determine whether it is worth getting another card to transfer the remainder to or just pay it off.
Chances of getting a £10k limit on a new card after already being offered a £6k limit? Slim.
Changes of getting a £4k limit on a new card after already being offered a £6k limit? Much better.0 -

I recently transferred a balance from Virgin (MBNA) to both Barclaycard and NatWest with no significant problems - the transfers weren't accepted on-line, but a call to both of them and they did them straight away.0
