aldi nappies - typical price

hi

our little one is now 3 months old and so far we have been using pampers nappies. quite happy with it, however they are sometimes expensive.

i was told about aldi's nappies being quite good. I dont have a aldi very close by but i can get to one if i need to occassionally.

Can someone tell me roughly what price are aldi's nappies (size 3 upwards if it matters!). so i can compare to pampers and see if its worth making the journey and stocking up with different sizes!

  • I haven't had any experience of the Aldi nappies but I used Tesco Superdry on mine. They were cheaper than Pampers and were just as good with absorbing.

Here is a link to Aldi's website with the costs

Think they're usually around £5.50 for just over fifty in a pack. Something like 56 per pack. They are good and we've never had any problems with them.

I use them, and their wipes. No complaints at all. Wipes are 79p and nappies £4.49 for 54 size 4.

I also like asda or sainsburys which are 2pack for a tenner.

I don't know what Tesco have done with theirs recently but they seem to now be doing the same pee smell thing that I've always had issues with with Pampers.

It's nice to know that the cheaper supermarket ones are not as bad as some people make them out to be. All I have been told for my little one when he arrives in December is to get pampers as others leak, don't fit correctly and are genuinely useless.

Will be doing my shopping in Aldi and Tesco to start with to try them out now :)

I used the Asda brand without any issues. They seem to cost £10 for 100 if you buy 2 packs of 50 atm.

Had trial pack of size 1 Aldi & I thought they were great. Haven't used since as it's another trip/journey and too much faff. If I was a freq Aldi shopper I'd definately get them.x

I have switched to Aldi nappies too and am really pleased- pack of 44 size 2 for £2.99! They're not as good as Pampers but for the huge price difference I won't go back.
