Tenancy end date

Hi,
I moved into my current place on the 26th, however as I get paid the last Friday of each month, the payment date was changed to the 1st of every month. I am moving out next month and need to give in my notice, will I need to move out in 26th or 1st?
Also it is a furnished place, on the inventory it says that one wardrobe was in the bedroom and one was in the living room. Do I have to put the furniture back in the rooms that it says on the inventory?

Have you got to the end of the tenancy's initial fixed term, which was probably six or twelve months?
Assuming you pay your rent monthly, your tenancy periods are from 26th of the month to 25th of the following month. Changing the date you are making the rent payment doesn't change the tenancy period.
You should give notice to move out at the end of a tenancy period - which will be the 25th of the month.
It may be possible to negotiate with the landlord to agree a different day, but he doesn't have to agree to this, nor to let you off rent until the end of the tenancy period.0 -
You move out on the 26th! The payment terms shouldn't affect the tenancy start/end dates. So the notice you gave/received needs to coincide with this date.
No - as long as they are in the property the check out should pick this up. To be on the safe side you should be there when the check out inventory is taking place. You can point it out then if need be.

25th*, not 26th.0 -

Just checking one thing, OP. You say you moved in on the 26th. Is that the date of the start of the tenancy in the tenancy agreement?0
