Overseas Purchase Credit card

Hi,
I am currently coming to the end of my graduate interest fee current account, and sometimes dip into the overdraft but rarely and I have enough in savings to cover it if I do (also its interest free). Might set up the 123 santander soon but would only get up with £50 profit a year. I am also looking at getting a mortgage next year (with the 20% gov scheme)

My main question is, I have a santander CC (the standard one - always have paid off in full each month) and have to pay for foreign purchases. In the near future I might need to make overseas purchases, but definitely will next summer when I go on holiday. Should I cancel my current santander CC and take out the post Office 0% overseas one, or keep both open or don't open a new one. Will having 2 CCs damage my credit score?

Sorry bit confused :S

And sorry if that didn't make any sense.

Thanks

Get a new one for overseas use. And no need to cancel the first. I am currently still a student and have just opened my third credit card (will cancel one of the others, but that's just personal preference).

I always think 2 credit cards is a good idea because if your card is lost/blocked abroad/stolen in the Peruvian rain forest, you need a back-up.

It won't damage your credit score.
