nationwide online and app problems ?

Anyone else having problems logging on with the banking online it just comes up saying they are having techincal issues. while the app it won't even let me log in. i've checked the nationwide service status and it says everything is running normal.

edit the website won't even load now

    There is now a message on the website as follows:

    We're sorry to have to tell you that our web site is unavailable
    We are making every effort to restore service as quickly as possible.

    If your banking is urgent, we have other ways you can bank with us. You could try:
    • Using a fast cash machine or ATM
    • Visiting a branch during opening hours
    We are very sorry for any inconvenience this will cause you.

    Yes I've got that message now it was ok when I transferred money into the account Sod's law it wouldn't when I'm trying to pay out lol ill give it afew hrs I don't have access to either today so neither of those options are available to me.
  • Interestingly, the error message refers you to the "Service Status Page" - which tells you that everything is Operating Normally.

    Methinks they need to look more closely at this and update the page with the actual status....

    It's now working so only a Short downtime

    Edit well the app is I'm not sure about online banking.

    Not for me it's not, so I suspect they're using their load balancers to slowly ramp up capacity, rather than just let everyone back on in one go. Pot luck if you get on or not.
