Magic Grp Benidorm AoA, Advice Pls

Hi, have seen a great holiday to Benidorm allocated on arrival to one of the Magic Group Hotels with First Choice. Trying to work out where I might be allocated to as in the laws are out there and we are hoping for a bit of babysitting whilst on holiday. First choice only book 3 of the magic hotels but the woman on the phone said don't expect to be allocated into one of these as they sell othere peoples holidays. I have never gone AoA before, do you have a chance to negotiate at all with the reps at the airport? Any advice would be very welcome the AoA price is coming in at nearly £300 cheaper than named.

not sure is it aoa benidorm or costa blanca- as if the later it would be likely you may be in cala finestrat at monika holidays or down in albir by the medieval knights show. i may be slightly out of date but would imagine fenicia is another that still needs some work so you could be there.
dont try bribeing the reps as they have no influence what so ever it is all done in the offices.

where would you want to be? do not book if you have any special requirements as tropic gardens for example is on the steepest hill ever.

finally if its AI it could be any, sc or apts rooms i could try to work out!

thanks deva, that is my main concern that we will be put in the monika as it's so far out. I can choose between self catering or half board allocated on arrival let me know if that helps you narrow it down

sc will probably be monika or tropicana suites or the one out to albir. have you tried bookin direct? or doing flight then hotel- but you would get oppourtunity to upgrade to Ai in resort and you can eat in any of the hotels and there is a curtesy bus.

the amount you are talking of saving would cover taxis

AOA in Benidorm isnt a great idea.AOA AI is even worse IMO. You could be anywhere. Poniente, Old Town Levante, Rincon de Loix or Juzgados.It would take you over an hour to walk from 1 end of Poniente to other end of Levante. You could be up to 1km from the beach and further from entertainment.
To me its all about LOCATION LOCATION. Id book an apt near Levante.
Beach, or even better on it! Benidorm-Spotlight has lots of info on all the apartments in that area.

AI in Benidorm is IMO a waste of a holiday. In order to get the best of AI you will miss all the entertainment outwith the hotels.The entertainment is what Benidorm is all about after all! If you take in all the entertainment, you dont get the benefit of being AI.
