Blackberry 9360 faults WSOD / USB faults

I've been given the above to repair/get a quote for repair, it had white screen of death initially, then the USB connector became loose.

Managed to strip it down so far, but the 2 screws at the top of the screen refuse to budge (t4 screwdriver), so unable to progress. The white screen maybe due to the screen being faulty, but looking online, there are various reset codes listed that claim to restore it.

So would it be worth continuing, maybe drill the screws out? Or is there a trick to remove them that I'm missing? Or that issue, and also the screen being faulty, is it worth to take it to repair?

Cheers
