electric sun roof

Hi there I have a mercedes clk 430 convertible 2001 and today whilst I was putting the roof down it stopped opening about a third of the way. I checked in the boot that the cover thingy was hooked on and that was fine. All the windows opened as normal but the roof just stops. So annoying, it was working fine last time i used it a week ago.Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks

Are you pressing the right button for the roof?

Make sure the fuel cap isn't open.;)

Anything daft in the boot stopping it?

I hired a Renault convertible on hols for a week and thought I'd broke the roof, turns out I'd overfilled the boot and knocked a cover thing off in the boot stopping the roof from going down.
