orange wednesdays and children's prices?

Hi all,
My DD and niece might go to the cinema on Wednesday, they are 12 and 13 years old. I can get them an Orange 241 code, but do they still get to ask for 2 children's tickets with the code? ie a child's ticket is £6.40 (aged under 14) an adult is £7.60.
I've had a look on the Orange site and can't see anything in the T&Cs which says No, but I've never tried before (we are usually an adult and child when using the Orange 241 codes).

I don't know for sure, but think so.
The reason I think this is because a friend used to have a Cineworld Unlimited card, so he paid his monthly subscription but then entered for free. On Orange Wednesdays, if a guest went with him, meant that not only did he go for free (well free meaning on his unlimited subscription), but so did his guest as that counted as 2-4-1 also.0 -
Yeah they do. As long as it is a participating cinema.
Although £6.40 for a child's ticket is really expensive. I'm guessing Vue?
I live in a London borough and adult tickets are significantly less.0 -

That's the same price in Leeds too, an adult ticket is about £8.50 plus extra if you want 3D.0

Those are fairly standard prices, hence I only go on Orange Wednesdays or sometimes with Tesco vouchers. Usually my sister pays as she might owe me a few quid for shopping but last time it was my turn and I blanched at the price, even though it was for the two of us!
Where in London is it cheaper? My friends in London are always moaning about the prices.0 -
I don't want to say my exact location in case I'm 'outed' but if I bought an adult ticket with a fiver I'd get change.
I do think some cinemas do charge ridiculous prices though! I went to another one (Vue) which is a little further away and I didn't get change from £20 for 2 tickets

we are over £6 for a childs ticket, and over £7 for an adult ticket, here in the East Midlands. I too only use Orange Wednesday and occasionally buy a reduced ticket through work (around £5 a ticket) if there are an odd number of us going to the cinema.
Good job I don't like watching 3D movies, because they are typically another £2 plus each ticket on top of the normal price!0 -
Is it an independent cinema Jemma?0
