New York/Kansas/Vegas

Hi guys,

Parents are looking to book a trip in October to New York for a few days then on to Kansas (as they have friends there) for a few days then Vegas then home. 12-14 day trip but obv that has to include travel. They are starting to look into planning it but just wondered if anyone had any hotel recommendations for New York or Vegas and suggested companies to book thru or get quotes? Ay help or suggestions/tips gratefully received.

Thanks

Aimex x

  • Vegas - Bellagio :D
New York - Verve (click here)

Don't book flight and hotel, book the lot separately. Use Kayak to find a multi city flight from wherever they're going from to NYC, then from Vegas back home. Also check out booking 2 singles using skyscanner's 'whole month' feature.

Book the internal flights from LaGuardia to Kansas with Southwest, and the same for Kansas to Vegas.

If you need a transfer from the airports to he hotels, https://www.execucar.com are great.

Hi Aimex - I don't know your budget but in Vegas my fav is the Wynn. Here is the link http://www.wynnlasvegas.com/

The built a new hotel called "Encore" but I like the "Wynn" better which itself looks brandnew anyway. They sometimes have amazing deals.

hotels suggestions in both cities will be very budget-dependent so would be good to have an idea what range they are looking at.

check hotel rates in vegas before committing to dates if possible - there can be big swings even on weekdays when there's a big convention in town...so if there's flexibility around what dates they will be in Vegas it can mean big changes in hotel rates.

I would agree with DIY for this sort of trip - much more flexibility to do exactly what they want...open jaw flight transatlantic, internal flights separate (though the Kansas thing may make it a bit more complicated, you can try the various multi-city search options and see what comes up - they may be surprised), book hotels direct, etc.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
