UKCPS PCN Help...

Well the last time i got a pcn, i was told to ignore and that was a few years back.
It seems times have changed and the general opinion is to appeal.
Well we parked at Sheffield centretainment one evening, and as it was full there were no spaces, we did however park on the pavement around the back of one of the retail units, not blocking any exits, and off we went only to return to find the PCN on the screen.
I have ignored only to receive last week the notice to keeper, with no POPLA code on there.
Do i just mail back asap and state we need the popla code to appeal, and if i appeal would i win as parked on the pavement which indeed is outside of the bay.
There does seem a lot still state to ignore, which i am tempted to do! any help appreciated.
regards

You do a very basic appeal to the ppc. Say anything you like in your appeal. Keep it short n sweet. They will decline it , then give you a popla code.
When you get it come bk here for further helpProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -

well had reply from my soft appeal.
it states that the driver of the car was clearly parked outside a bay and has a couple of photos included of the car indeed parked on the pavement.
I did ask in the soft appeal that if they were not going to cancel the ticket, i want a POPLA reference.
This is not mentioned in their reply letter, and they state in the reply that i can ask for a POPLA ref to appeal!
Do I just write back and ask for a POPLA ref, nothing else at this stage.
Thanks in advance.0 -
Yes. Just that, referring them to their previous letter. POPLA code - That's the golden ticket you need.0

I bet they said 'UKCPS can only address the factual issues'!
Google 'UKCPS address the factual issues' (copy that into a new tab Google search right now!) to see all the other dozens of threads on here and on pepipoo, from people who have 'been there, done that' already with your template reply you have there! You will see how others have replied and how they then proceeded when they got their POPLA code, it will help you later on to read those threads and see how things pan out.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Yep, the 10 digit code is your 'golden ticket'. Read these links:

and soon you will have written a winning POPLA appeal! You can post it here first, as a draft, as UKCPS will see it soon enough and will lose anyway.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Help,
guys where do i start with my appeal, the 'driver' was parked on a pavement as there were no spaces with an event at the arena across the road?
many thanks again0 -
Already told you...as linked...a winning POPLA appeal is NOT about 'what happened'. It's about the issues shown in the link. Show us your draft copied from those examples.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
