EDF energy constant cold calls
Any tips how we can stop the constant cold calls from this energy supplier. We've tried all the usual tips but still get a pestering phone call every couple of weeks. Having lived in the north east we have many phone calls from this area so ignoring calls from this area is very difficult.

Ask them to take you off their calling list?
Assuming you haven't agreed to them calling you at some point, register with TPS then tell EDF next time they call that you are registered with TPS and they should not be calling you. Or just tell them that anyway. Worked for me once!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Yes, if you tell any company to stop cold calling you (irrespective of whether or not you are registered with the TPS) for marketing purposes then that should stop them calling.0

Yes that certainly works :rotfl: We've been TPS registered for a few years and made no contact with EDF but still the calls come, bad enough with all the home cold callers trying to sell you some old tat and 90% of mail being junk but having to search for your specs before you can read the caller display can be a bit tiresome especially when I'm trying to rest my eyes when some of the soaps are on TV0
