BENQ on-site warranty - useless!

I have a BENQ TFT monitor FP731 which has a 36 month on-site warranty.

It went faulty the other day so I called the warranty helpline (10/10 to BENQ for having a geo. number) and gave all my details.
They said that someone would call me back to organise a swap out.

2 days later I still havn't had a phone call so I ring the helpline to be told that it normally takes 7-10 working days to contact me to organise swap out!

That is the last BENQ product I ever buy! What a cheek.

So has anyone else any experience of other monitor manufacturers warranty procedures for when I purchase my next monitor?

Cheers, Des.

My Philips monitor warrenty I cannot fault.

The monitor was 3 1/2 years old when it went, having black lines all over the screen.

Phoned up Philips HQ, passed me through to warrenty department, who were so apologetic it was unbelievable! Had a new one turn up two days later, no questions asked!

    Brilliant service.
