Really want one of these, would be our first tablet. Dissapointed when found out how much later UK release would be. But everyday now the release date seems to keep moving close as new stockists like Game undercut the original advertisers Currys/pc world on release date.
Still no word of official google play store release.
Is it worth holding off a bit longer or is it unlikely to start coming any sooner? Currently Game have it for 28th August

These won't be the first batch, as the US will be getting them first.
I'd order it - you'll then have bragging rights for two weeks on what looks like a great bit of kit. I have the 16gb bought in the USA last year. My advice - if you want to take video around with you to watch, or even some music, get as much memory as you can. Mine slows down when it's almost full and that's only with a light load of apps and 3 hours of video on board.0 -
Definitley getting 32gb version. Just wondering whether to order now but risk missing an earlier release from somewhere else. Just a short while ago Google announced the official release date as 28th. So that's sorted. Just need to order from any company releasing it at the same time with best cashback deal
