I'd go with browntoa's advice, though a computing student I know spilled coke in one and it survived amazingly.
Perhaps from now on you should have drinks in sports cap bottles or sat on the floor just to be on the safe side - it's what I've resorted to. Either that or straws so you don't move the cup.

opened up a toshiba for a guy at work as it was not working, you could smell the coffe when the keyboard was off !!
you could also trace the route it took across the motherboard and into the HDD, hence the thing was un-repairableEx forum ambassador
