Should i assume i've been accepted for a Saga credit card?

I applied for a Saga Platinum card - which was about 8 days ago now. I've still yet to receive any correspondence through a letter on whether i've been accepted or rejected.
Though just today when checking my email, i had an email from Saga registering me for the online service with my User ID details, and that my PAC code (in order to log in) will be in the post in the next few days.
Would this mean i've been accepted? I know it might be a silly question, but i'm quite surprised, as i've already been rejected for 2 credit cards this month, and only applied for the Saga credit card in hope.

You've definitely gotten it. No worries on that front.
But aren't saga guaranteed in any case?0 -
Saga are far from guaranteed.
It is a Platinum credit card provided by Allied Irish Bank for the over 50s.
It features an 11.9% Standard APR, fee-free overseas use, and interest free cash withdrawals as long as the statements are settled in full each month.
It's a pretty good card when all's said and done.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
