merc clk430 convertible 2001

Hi there,

My roof on my convertible will only open a third of the way. mmmm It was fine last time I used it never had this before. The windows all go down and it starts as it always has but then stops. Any ideas anyone help please.

    It's a Merc and it falls smack bang in the middle of their worse years (quality wise).
    Your best bet is to find an owners forum and do some searching for similar problems.

    I think Ed China had this problem on Wheeler Dealers and he replaced the hydraulic unit with a refurbed unit from ebay for about £100.
