Free web space?

I want to set up my own web site can anybody recommend any sites that offer this for free or very cheap please.

    Free-Webhosts.com is a good place to look for reviews of the various free options available.

    bravenet are about the best and easiest to use, but be aware that all free sites come with loads of pop-ups and ads.

    Quite a few come without ads

    I've tried Freehostia and Awardspace just recently. No popups or ads.

    The site I mentioned in the previous reply tells you if ads are part of the deal in the "Forced Ads" column

    Dial up connection option is free, you have to dial up and login once every 90 or 120 days to keep it active, sorry can't remember which.
    25Mb space, least that's what it says, I'm using more than that.
    No ads or pop ups.
    0845 number help line but not open 24 hours any more.

    i use award space for three sites i deal with, i have only had good experiences from them.
    Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!:mad:
    Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow.. :p

    I'd personally reccomend https://www.5gbfree.com as they seem to be no bother at all. Ad Free too!
