Hi,
When I select START then TURN OFF COMPUTER, the "STANDBY" option is greyed out. This has only happened within the last week; I haven't added any new hardware, software, drivers etc. Any ideas please? Thanks.
ps It's running Windows XP SP2.

Try playing with your Power settings in Control Panel (switch to classic view of control panel if you don't know where it is). Sounds like your PC doesn't think it's got power-saving abilities at the moment.0

A device driver or graphics driver may have been updated automatically via Windows Update. See http://www.rickrogers.org/standby.htm.0
