Hello.
On 13/08/2013 i will be changing from Sky broadband and going to BT broadband.
I will be getting a HomeHub 4 to replace the Sky one.
I have now a wireless G usb adaptor to get a wireless signal in my upstairs room. With the new Hub will i need to get a new adaptor or can i still use the old one as it is G band and HomeHub i think is N band.
Will i benefit from getting a N rated adaptor or is it not worth it?

As Closed says, the old one will do. You can get a "Wireless N" one if you want, but it's unlikely to offer you any great advantages.0

It really depends on what speed your internet speed is, unless its more than about 20mbps then just use the old one.
if you dont have a great signal strength an N dongle will give you better reception0 -
homehub 4 is dual band 2.4/5ghz, so you may as well get a dual band adapter if you get one.0

sk240 my speed now is 7mb but in 3/4 months Infinity will be switched on and was told by BT i could get upto 38mb.
thanks for the replies they have given things to ponder.0 -
you will probably want to upgrade to an N dongle then, as sooler has suggested a 5ghz one will give a better connection.
They are relatively cheap, see my link

And possibly Homehub 6 in a couple of year's time!
Surely the OP has to work with what he's got?0
