Its time to put the Ford Ka up for sale. 05 plate standard Ford Ka petrol engine.
Has only 29500 miles, service history and full years MOT.
No rust!! bodywork in good condition with interior as new!
I have a fair idea what to ask but I am always interested in another opinion.:A

3800 miles a year is very low mileage for the age, I personally wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Check Autotrader/etc, that'll be more realistic than any "opinions" you'll get.
Fortunately, small cars sell at stupidly high prices, there's lots of demand and you'll get what you ask (as long as you price it right).

What trim level is it? Word on back of the car - style? Zetec?

It's usually written on the door pillar on KAs.

Hi its just a Ka no special trim level, Metallic blue only other extra is a CD/ radio
wife has owned it from 2006 It hasn't done many miles because she works close to home so usually the mileage has been shopping and suchlike, I have made a point of giving it a 30 mile or so run every couple of weeks just to keep it running well.
Very little sign of bubbling, what there was was treated and touched up before it got going

The trim level helps when valuing KAs. Does it have electric windows, colour coded painted bumpers, aircon or alloys?

Assuming it must be Style then as that's the most basic trim level that covers the year of manufacture.

It's worth just under £1500 for a good condition private sale according to wisebuyer's guide http://www.wisebuyers.co.uk/index.jsp?guide=prices&page=used_cars&no=3&make=Ford&model=Ka+%281996-09%29&vip=3585&yearplate=2005%2F55&mileage=29&x=70&y=8

But lets call it £1500 since it has the CD option

What do you think it's worth out of interest? Am I near?

Look at the number of trim levels for a KA and see why I was finding it tricky to find the correct one :rotfl:

All used in different years as well
