It seems a little odd that there is absolutely no indication the comps are regional only entry.

On the Dorset site you click offers and competitions then NATIONAL COMPETITIONS to enter, surely in itself that suggests that they are open to all.

Also the terms that each comp sends you too list nothing in relation to only regional entrants

I think they're breaking their own terms by disqualifying winners from outside their area

Some of them indicate they are regional only, this was on one of theirs
This competition is for Newsquest Northwest titles and for entrants that live within the Northwest area

For the ones that are indicated it's fair enough but the others that aren't should be honoured wherever the winner is from

Had a quick trawl through some of them the only northwest one I found had the entry condition (it's on mse I have added the entry condition to the comp post)

    http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/competitions/4722/WIN_TICKETS_TO_THE_2013_WSKA_CHAMPIONSHIPS__LIVERPOOL/

This competition is for Newsquest Northwest titles and for entrants that live within the Northwest area.

    it also included
Winners may be required to collect prizes in person, have their photograph taken and participate in local publicity

which the southwalesargus have on every one I looked at.

Looked further and they all have the above condition so although it would not stop out of area entries they don't have to deliver any prizes.

If you're interested in a comp on newsquest and you're outside the potential area for eligibility this link may help:

    http://www.newsquest.co.uk/portfolio/our-titles/

It lists all their local newspapers, although not all comps are on all the papers - some are.

I'm in South East so miles from most of those posted - I've found some on ours and will add the links to any all ready here. Plus any new ones :D
