Supermarket Fuel - Bad Buy?
Comments
-
I know it's been asked before...but....who 'owns' Harvest fuel?
I ask [again, probably]....because a nearby fuel spot went from Shell to Harvest, and I have used it [petrol, not diseasel]....and noted a certain 'crispness' to performance for the duration....and wondered?
Hard to say. Tesco certainly own Greenergy. Harvest are technically independent but the fuel world is very incestuous and Tesco could easily own a minority share of Harvest. Certainly Tesco/Greenergy have fuel bunker sharing and reciprocal agreements to supply each other.
The change in the petrol station branding is a matter for the independent forecourt operator. Buying fuel and branding from Shell will be expensive. Harvest have recently been on a drive to establish themselves with a uniform Harvest/Mace branding. The man without a signature.0
