Advice needed please .. Hacked old hotmail & deactivated Facebook account

Hi , my eldest son had a Facebook account a few years ago about 2009/2010 and also a hotmail account , the Facebook account was deactivated because he didn't like Facebook anyway his old Facebook account has been reactivated ( not by us or my son ) , passwords changed and secret question changed as well , his old hotmail account has also been hacked and everything has changed password , secret question etc . These accounts need to be re-closed and deleted because they are not used and don't want to be used in the future , my son has special needs and has no interest in Facebook or hotmail at all , please can someone help .... Hotmail deactivates old accounts so they can be used by others if they are 'retired', 270 days everything is deleted and stuff gets bounced back to the person sending it, if after an additional 90 days there is no word from you it is permenantly deleted so someone else can claim the address.

Sorry, but it does not look like it was hacked, just abandoned and now used by someone else

The Facebook hack is quite simple.

The new owner of the Hotmail account visited Facebook, failed to log in and used the "forgotten my password" option. The password reset instructions are mailed to the Hotmail account, and the new user can now log into "their" Facebook account.
