Yes - 3 hospitals in Scotland still charge.
Ninewells Hospital Dundee
Glasgow Royal Infirmary
The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
In Dundee they have a 30 year contract not due to expire until 2028, so no free parking there any time soon.
In fact Vinci Park UK Ltd. put the charges up for everyone, including staff, at the end of last year - it's a thriving business there.
Local MSP can do nothing at all.0 -

Okay so the update is 3 letters from Debt Recovery Plus. Last one headed in bold 'Notice of intended court action' I ignored this. Letter from BPO collections stating they will pass the matter to another company Walker Love (Sheriff officers). They now want £64 rather than the original £40. That was back in August. All letters ignored so far.0

Whether it is BPO or Walker Love the only way that they are going to make any money is for the recipients of their letters to pay up. At this stage they are probably charging a fixed fee to send the letters and then simply reverting to the original PPC when you fail to respond. That means that each of these letters is eating into the PPC's profits. Shame.Gym_Addict wrote: »Okay so the update is 3 letters from Debt Recovery Plus. For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
