Aqua Credit Card question

I already have 2 credit cards and they are at their limit. I needed a bit more credit to help with a few things and tried to apply for a new credit card with another company. This request was rejected and so suddenly I started getting emails from Aqua credit card stating they can get your credit back on track if you apply for one their cards. I read up on them and knew the initial credit limit would be low, but I was fine with this as I only needed a bit of money to help me this month. So I applied and expected my credit limit would be £250. Got the credit card with the agreement and checked my credit limit and was shocked to see that straight away they have given me a credit limit of £1600!!!...I am confused as I thought this card was aimed at people who struggled to get credit. My credit scores for experian are excellent, equafax says good and having just checked noodle it states fair!!!....so even more confused about credit scores as well.
I am now wondering if I would have been better trying to obtain a credit card from another company with better rates if Aqua are willing to give me £1600 straight away. Also has anyone used the Aqua Classic card abroad? I may need to use it as an emergency so just wondered if anyone had used it with no problems. I will be calling them to tell them I am going abroad.

Every credit card provider has their own criteria for acceptance and credit limit worthiness. Obviously Aqua thought you were a low risk and would pay them back, so have given you that limit.
I have a £1400 limit with them at 35%. I've also used my Aqua card in the USA, and it was never blocked. I did inform them beforehand that I was travelling.
Remember the interest rate is usually quite high with them, (though not as bad as pay day lenders) so be responsible and pay back quickly.0
