No way, I would have hated it.

ETA: Personally, I think it's really outdated too.

    hi,

would you want a stripper on your hen night or not? cant decide weather to get the hen one of not

Good grief no!!!!! Tacky, tacky, tacky! And how embarrassing for the poor bride to be!

Surely you want to give a lovely experience, not one that has her hanging her head in shame!

Nothing against a nice, semi naked man, BUT strippers are just plain tacky, as are most hen do's these days (the usual screechy, tackily dressed up women ones I mean).

    Depends on the people though.

There's a line between tacky and good old fashioned cheese :D

I'm up for most things, but wouldn't have wanted a stripper, because I'd feel quite uncomfortable with a man wiggling around in front of me. We did however, go to a big girl's night out event with strippers and a drag queen, which was a good fun. My mum thought it was amusing, but my aunt couldn't come, and probably just as well. Personally I prefer it when they don't go full monty (in my life's experience of 2 male strip shows), but it did tick the "classic hen night" box, which they knew I'd love, and I did!

  • Two words: No. Way. My best mate has promised no hen night cliches (ie no strippers, no willy-shaped anything, no pink sparkly cowboy hats/sashes/L plates etc) and for that I am eternally grateful. For me a stripper would just be utterly mortifying, I just wouldn't know where to look! Plus I'm likely to have family coming to my hen do and whilst there are some people who would love it, equally I know others would find it awful, and the last thing I want is for my friends and family to feel embarrassed.

That said for my sister's hen night we went to Funny Girls (very famous Blackpool drag show) and it was brilliant, so I'd definitely be up for something like that! I think as others have said you know the bride and her mates and whether they'd be up for it, and that's really the only thing you need to base your decision on.

No, i hate strippers. Its just soooo embarrassing.
  • No! No! No! lol :)

But to be honest I think all the 'guy' orientated stuff at a hen party is tacky.

It's a girls night out! Do girl stuff!! :D

I'm not a prude at all, but I'd have hated a stripper on my hen do! I didn't really love being the centre of attention all day as it was, it would have been so much worse having a naked man gyrating around in front of me! :p

A girl I work with just had her hen weekend and her sister organised a stripper. She said it was awful and she ended up making him leave once he started slapping his *ahem* thingy in her face as that was way too close for comfort!

Saying that, if you get a good one and your friend would like that kind of thing, then go for it!

I'd rather get a Butler in the Buff, a bit cheeky but not too full-on! ;)
