Oh god no but all depends what the hen is into. I was at a hen night recently and the only thing the hen had asked for was as many willy shaped things as possible:rotfl: whistles, straws, bubbles, chocolate, balloons etc!! I think I'd be more spa treatments then a good old piss up!

Personally I would have HATED it, but you know your friend best :) Some women would love it.

I suppose the unknown variable might be the other guests. Is it likely that there will be other people there who would feel uncomfortable or offended? If so, perhaps err on the side of caution. If you know them, and they're a game bunch, you're probably safe to get a stripper if the bride would like it.

I personally wouldn't. It depends on the hen, and who's there. I had family at mine, so definitely not!

I don't drink and I'm not into 'partying', so I did a meal for mine, followed by a private room at a night club so that I could relax but others still felt like they were getting the 'party' bit. People knew that I wasn't into nights out etc., but obviously there are some things that people 'expect' a hen party to be. That meant that I got some cheap accessories to wear, and some willy-shaped items as well as a few pranks and embarrassing stories. I'd have preferred not to have all that, but fortunately it was relatively toned down and there were some lovely bits, too.

Those doing most of the planning knew me well enough to not go overboard (though there was one bit that went too far for me). I wouldn't go planning a stripper without knowing that the bride would really appreciate it.

Really really depends on the hen, I'd say I'm quite relaxed and had a good old fashioned drunken hen night, but I said absolutely no to a stripper as I went to a hen do with one last year and it was wayyyy too full on for me. Also, is she having any family there? Would she want one if so?

Imho I wouldn't it's all too much tacky now tbh.

I'd be happy going out for a quiet meal with a few friends.

I would have hated it and couldn't imagine anything worse

Honestly I would have walked out of my own hen do if someone had organised a stripper

Definitely not. That was the one thing I told everyone I didn't want! Not my thing at all!
