PPI complaint with Llyods TSB

Hello, looking for some advice - Llyods TSB have left me very confused and frustrated...
Sent credit card PPI complaint questionnaire to them April 2012 and had no response, contacted them by phone to be told they had received nothing?? So sent the form again a few months later and again no response and told again by their PPI dept that they had received nothing? Was frustrated so never did anything till recently - called their PPI dept last month (june 2013) to be told they have nothing on file and did I want to go through the complaint over the phone? Went ahead and did this and got a letter dated 8th July from them acknowledging the complaint and told it was being investigated and would respond within 8 wks - so all good!
Called them today (7th aug) for an update to be told that a letter was sent to me May 2012 not upholding the complaint?? And my recent appeal was not successful? But they told me on a number of occasions that they never received any of my correspondence last year so how could they have responded? And I have never made an appeal? Was then told that the letter they sent last year went to an address that I have never lived at? So they are now telling me to go to local branch to update address details so they can resend the letter dated May 2012? My statements have been coming to my current address for the past 10 yrs and all the security questions asked today were linked to my current address but the girl on the phone just didn't get it?? Kept telling me to go to local branch to update address details?
Have asked for a manager to call me back but not holding out much hope as the girl told me they were really busy! Totally lost it with her but was and still am so frustrated - what do I do now?
Sorry for the rant but just looking for someone's opinion on the matter....
I don't think going to my local branch is really going to make a difference?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Send your complaint to the FOS.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

But remember, FOS is taking up to 18 months to say one way or the other.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
It's taken a year with Lloyds and they;ve got nowhere. If the FOS offer lloyds a chance to pay up and they say yes, it'll be done and dusted in 6 months with the FOS.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Play by their rules. Take proof of address into a branch (driving licence, recent utility bills, especially your bank statements
) and get the branch to contact the PPI people on your behalf. Mention the fact that is is causing you some distress and some inconvenience as you have been getting your statements to your current address for the period you have mentioned.

Thanks for the responses - think I will try my local branch first and see what happens. If still not happy I will send complaint to FOS.0
