Double Glazing Grants

Dad has just been contacted by Ecoseal - saying there is a £3,000 grant towards new 'A' rated energy windows if your windows were installed prior to 2010. He stated it is not means tested and the only requirement to qualify for the grant is having windows installed prior to 2010. Anybody heard anything about this?
I have searched for grants with regards to windows, all seem to be based on the benefits you receive etc. Can't find anything that states if you windows were installed prior to 2010 you can get 3k grant towards the cost of replacements.

Good grief I can smell it from here. I bet its not a "grant" at all. It will be we'll quote £ 20k for this job then give him the massive 50% discount cos he's such a special person and we love him dearly that takes it to £ 10k and which gets him on the hook. Then take off the £ 3k "grant" on a "don't worry we'll take care of all that" basis reducing it to £7k which is the hook line and sinker bit and probably well more than enough to hit both sales AND gross margin targets. Oh and PS you really need to sign-up today! Yeah Right!
