Littlewoods woes no customer service

The following emails are the ones bounced back between myself and littlewoods customer service over the last 9 days they make interesting reading i think although i admit I am now getting a little sarcastic with them I personally feel that it is warranted.
No resolution in sight please if you have advice i would be greatful

This has not resolved my query about the cabinet in question and its not inconvenient you have sold this unit with the wrong lighting i want to know what you are going to do about it. the very fact you make no reference to the item i have complained about makes me wonder if this is the same generic response everyone gets when they fill out a customer care request please let me know what you are going to do about this issue .

This is the third request regarding this item as mentioned in your email nobody has contacted me in the three days as it was stated they would, I fail to see the difficulty in a large mail order business acknowledging a complaint and dealing with it accordingly. I have been a customer of littlewoods for 20 years and am utterly dumbfounded by your mistreatment of me about a legitimate complaint regarding an item which was clearly wrongly described and I want to know what you are going to do about it. The culture of ignore and perhaps they will go away will simply not wash with me.

  • This is laughable at best I sent them the specs for the single unit as it still mentioned the halogen light and they said yours was the double, Im guessing they are missing my point but I will get through to them eventually the problem is getting a different rep everytime i email although at this rate i am rapidly increasing my odds of getting one i spoke to before Im at 14 responses and climbing :mad:

    Do you have the description stating halogen light for the double?
  • I ordered the double online which stated double with halogen now it has been changed the the phrase spotlight instead of halogen however the single has not although they are the same range and picture the same light.

    Littlewoods acknowledge this was the case in one of the emails, although it would obviously greatly help OPs case if they could get hold of copy of the description they had with it on.

    chrisc1980, what do you actually want them to do about it? Do you want a refund, and are they refusing? If the unit was mistakenly described, they can't magic up a halogen spotlight that fits..
  • Well after sending numerous emails I finally got a small discount which i have accepted, It was more the principle of them trying to say I was in the wrong but at least finally they have conceded that perhaps I was right.:)
