Buying a house with multiple EAs- too late to switch?

  • 'Just to clarify again if IS NOT "your" EA agent! I do think that you need to be very careful in this situation though as I think that from the sounds of it both EA will be looking for a fee from the seller due to your impatience/incompetence and this is a cost that they seller may look to try to pass on to you. Especially if he is a developer working to a tight margin'

A little harsh, considering the point of my post was to acknowledge that we'd been stupid. Also, the second incident was due to an unfortunate error by our broker, who never thought to check which agent we were going through. There's no need to be rude.

All WB have done is handed keys to the valuer- I'm not sure they can say that they're owed anything, but I will be wary of this. Thanks for the advice.
  • yes sorry maybe a touch harsh

They are the ones that "introduced" you to the property so I think that they would be looking for a fee.
    Now buying our second house:
Accepted offer 16/12/18. Offer accepted 26/1/19. Buyer pulled out 4/2/19. Accepted new offer 13/2/19

FTB: Offer accepted 23/2/2013 Mortgage application 28/2/2013 Valuation: 4/3/2013 Valuation ok 15/3/2013 Mortgage Offer 21/3/2013 Exchange 10/4/2013 Completion 26/4/2103
  • That's ok.

But doesn't the fact that the property is listed under multiple EAs change things?
We could have viewed the property with one and lost interest, and then gone back to it via another agent, surely their introduction isn't valid indefinitely?
