Last Friday I made a booking with Norwegian Air via Opodo Uk.
I paid extra on the fares for baggage charges. I have now received the eticket from Norwegian air which states that No luggage has been ordered.
I have been emailing Opodo since Friday (four times in all!) without any response and it appears that the only other way to reach the customer services department is via a Premium Rate telephone line which I am loath to use as the charges there usually mount up very quickly. The same charges apply to the Norwegian air customer services.
Does anyone know of a good method to contact Opodo Uk.
I have used Opodo in the past but I understand that now their service has deteriorated - wish I had realised that before.

To call us from outside the UK,
please call: +44 121 281 3360
(International call rates may
apply)0 -
Yes, I can see that but why should I have to pay International rates for something which is not my fault and have to wait for who knows how many minutes to be attended to.
What is the reason I am not getting a reply to my emails?0 -

They're probably understaffed/not interested/too busy on the phone.
They won't make any money from their premium rate phone line if they respond to your email.
Have you tried telephoning them on this number? 0121 281 3340
It's listed on saynoto0870 soyou shouldn't be charged for anything more than a local rate call.0 -

If you are based in the UK (which I am assuming given this is a UK website) then you don't pay international rates.
Its a local number, you simply drop the +44 and put the 0 back on.
0121 281 3360 is what you dial.
It says International rates may apply as this is the number you are supposed to use when outside the UK when of course international rates will apply but it still works when you are in the UK and avoids the premium number.0 -
Thank you both for suggesting that number, I will try it when we get back to the Uk next Tuesday.
Although, I have to say for a well known Company you would expect a response within six days.0 -

3rd party booking sites like Opodo compete on price and pretty much nothing else. How much ressources do you think they allocate to their customer service department? They've also gone downhill since becoming part of the eDreams group. Next time book direct from the airline to avoid these sorts of issues.0 -
What on earth made you book Norwegian with Opodo, they're always more expensive when booking LCCs.0

I was looking for one way flights from Alicante to Munich for December and have always had to use Air Berlin who had the monopoly for that route and are quite expensive when I saw that Opodo were advertising flights at a very reasonable price so I booked with them.
Having used Opodo few years ago and received good service from them I thought it was a safe option, I had no idea they were now operating with another company.Obviously I have learned my lesson.
My question was to find out if anyone had a direct email address for them.0
