I am so sorry to have not posted since July: 2013 has been a rotten year, with very occasional lovely times. I've been so looking forward to the new year that I have tagged several Instagram photos with Chrstmas2014 by mistake.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous holiday, and wish you all the best for 2014!

My sealed pot finished the year to Christmas with £14.60 of cash I have found in the street.. And I have just remembered that I can unseal it now :rotfl: which is great: I can re-jig my budget a little, and treat myself now to the gold coloured Graphtint pencil I am wanting :j

Looking forward to seeing how the sealed pot challenge shapes up for us all in 2014.

Well done, Electricblue!! :T That's a whole lot better than nothing. I've re-added you to the list on SPC 7 so please see check your No is now and add it to your signature. Don't forget that we open our pots on November 27th 2014, so be sure to pop it in your diary.

Sorry for such a delayed result, definately did better this year than 2012 - managed to get DH husband on the band wagon!

Member # 1789 grand total of £455.03 in sealed pot in 2013 :j. I will go over to the new thread now to sign up!

Hey that's just amazing work, nows the time!!!!! :T Congratulations to you on such terrific saving! Hubby in on it too which is wonderful. I wish you both all the very best in doing as well...or better this next year SPC 7. Now, I'm off to add your Total to the Grand Total which can always be seen on my signature and we're now into £47.000!! :j

Opened my tin on 18 dec and contained an amount of 466 pounds, I was well chuffed.

Started quite eager in the year by putting all 2 pound coins in and the odd fiver. Started to dwindle a bit around the middle of the year and then made a effort from October onwards.

Thought to myself if it contained 200 quid then I would be content, but well over the moon with 466 pounds and the tin was just about half full.

Gonna start again and this time gonna go for a grand savings !!!!
