I got the automated "report received" email. I suppose if there are any issues they'll contact me on Monday.

    Thanks for your help

Just a quick heads up - if you accepted any online stuff for a summer project with an MSC, double-check the acceptable dates for doing the jobs. I accepted some for this evening, and it let me do so. Having just read the small print, it says not to do them before Monday...don't get caught out :)

Anyone else had any issues with location on a react job? I wonder if they just make these addresses up! Few months ago I had one within a hospital wing that didnt even exist, even after chasing them up they gave another incorrect location.

Spent nearly half an hour wandering round looking for todays location, had to give up in the end. Must be nowhere near the address they've given!

Does anyone know if there is a way of clearing jobs on the ESA board that you are not interested or restricted from doing? There are pages of phone jobs which I am not able to do as have done all the phone scenario's.

Normally there is so little on the board that this is not normally an issue...

I would love to be able to do this too.....it is so time consuming wading thru the dross.

Even more so on the secret eaters site. I gave up looking on there because I could see nothing for the hoards of rugrat barns.
    arghhh!!!

Hi everyone. New to this thread - nice to have a community of MSers.

I've MSed on and off for a few years now - only with RE/MF. I decided to do some more and, helped by the first post (thank you!) signed up with "Gyp".

I've just submitted my first report. I didn't see anywhere to enter the code you get in the briefing. Also, I seem to remember a post saying that report submission is a 2 stage process (though I may have made that up!)- submitting the report, but then going to another section and submitting a payment request.

I've only submitted my visit report - as I say, with no code in it.

Any help on what else I need to do much appreciated

Just to add my two happorth to Cybi-ping's response.

Going to and fro on the Gyp site is a pain.

I 'worked out' if the last action you did on the site was to download the paperwork it doesn't ask you for the code. (But Cybi - you might be right and it's a random glitch!)

I send myself an email with the assignment number and code so I can input things on the hoof with minimum fuss.

Oh - and welcome Secondhand. This thread reminds me of a frontier town. Lots of people passing through, some who stay around a while, an informative, generally helpful and welcoming place.

    Have a good Sunday everyone!
    arghhh!!!

I've found downloading the paperwork does away the with code for the burgers. Not sure it's the same for the other assignments. Think I still had to enter it for petrol.

Has anyone done ESA train jobs? I have accepted one for a station I will be passing on Monday when I pick my lo up from my mums. However, I have since read that it says peak times and I cant find info on evening peak times for the rail network its on- only morning peak times and the brief doesn't seem to actually specify times. Its the first ESA one I have accepted (also have a travel agency one booked) so don't want to get it wrong. If anyone has done them do they have time restrictions (ticket office only visits) that I may be missing?

I'm in the same boat, I accepted a train job as my first assignment for ESA. I assumed it meant the ticket had to be a peak time ticket (rather than an off-peak ticket), not that there was any time restrictions on when you actually bought the ticket. But now you've said that I'm not so sure!

Also, about the Gap codes, I've always downloaded the paperwork and I've always had to enter the code from it, usually at the start of the form. Hope this helps

I hate when I start on a new gadget-project and then, when I do the first visit, I am informed by the sales person that this particular model has not reached stores yet. :-/

Anyone else unable to get on MF website this morning? I haven't downloaded the paperwork or looked t questionnaire for a job; plus I am due payment for about 15 jobs on the 25th which although small fees its added up to a reasonable amount! I hope there isn't a problem with them or is it just me that can't get on?
