Out of interest, does anyone know when Albatross pay? Mine has gone from OK to pay to the folder at the bottom and I've not been paid yet. Confused dot com.

PS. Hope everyone is well and that you are all making millions with mystery shopping ;););)

I've done some jobs for Albatross. In my case they also double checked my Paypal address. I've usually received payment 30-45 days after completing a job for them.

Depends, they can have their place and suit a need.

I wouldn't go out of my way to do one, but if I've got the choice between paying for my lunch while I'm doing the day job or getting reimbursed for a butty and a bottle of pop, earn a small fee. Why not? More often than not, it's the sort of report I can do on my phone/tab in 15 minutes on the bus or while someone else is driving.

Well done, you are one of the reasons MS jobs now pay a pitance :T

My tact and diplomacy gland has been deficient for most of my life, so here's the short, blunt, version:

I'm in this job to look after me. I'm self-employed, not a member of a "team". I use MS'ing to make the bit of my livelihood I need it to make in any given week, or to offset the costs involved in making it by other means. For example, if I'm doing a living on my "real job", I can use MS'ing to reduce my incidental expenses. If I, effectively, don't pay (say) £5 for lunch every day, but write a report every day instead, I've made £35 extra by the end of the week.

Don't get me wrong, I will help and guide anyone who shows willing, I've got 2 people into this who are both doing what they need to part-time. If I'm not available or eligible for a worthwhile job, I will share with anyone who I know if worth sharing my reputation with.

There's plenty of MS work out there that pays well enough to make a living from if you know where to look, know how to adapt, can travel, and can keep your clients sweet. If you've been doing this for more than a few months, and all the jobs you have an option on pay a pittance, you're doing something wrong.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

In other news away from pay

had an awkward moment today when I attempted to return a phone call to a member of staff who left me a message YESTERDAY wanting to see if I wanted to go ahead, as follow up to my visit last week, only to be told rather awkwardly by the receptionist they had "left". I asked for the day ? and was told no for good!

I hope it wasn't my lack of a sale last week that was the straw that broke the camels back and caused it..
    oh well. life goes on...

Service measure - payments. How do they pay? I was looking at their website and can't see anywhere to add bank details, so I'm guessing paypal?

Was kind of expecting paid by now for a visit I did last month.

I've always filled in an invoice that comes with the brief for each job I complete. You may need to contact them.

Has anybody done work for IRC? Do they ever give feedback or even confirm that they've received a report and it's okay? Or do you just wait and see if you get paid within 30 days? I like the jobs they offer and the reports are quite straight forward :)

I had a payment this morning but I thought it was a little early this month. You invoiced them right? and I assume you have worked for them before so all they need is the invoice.
