You're absolutely spot on BG, unlike a particular high street coffee shop chain and numerous on line firms0 -
Enough is enough.... Please no more! 7 emails over the course of the day and a missed phone call from RA asking me to do an urgent assignment. They called me about it 4 times last month as well. It's the health shop reveal. Nah will pass thanks.Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

I don't bother with the health shop reveals either. I also find that they go to great lengths to contact you but then don't offer any premiums on their fees :cool:0 -

I just joined RA and saw those briefs and thought no thanks. Reminds me of the ESA convenience stores where you have to buy a purchase, make a complaint and reveal yourself. Those type of jobs usually hang around for a while.0 -

So... today I was supposed to undertake a shop for a petrol station with Gap. Emailed them at 1030 to ask for a re-schedule due to hospital appointment with Dad but no reply so went to do visit. However, when I was there I messed up and forgot to ask whether there was a bathroom - there weren't any immediately obvious. I then emailed them to ask whether I should express the evaluation or not (offered to re-shop over the next few days) and they never replied. So... do I do the questionnaire or not? I would imagine that it will need to be re-done so completing the eval will be worthless but don't know what to do.
Any advice greatly appreciated
I forgot to ask once too, mainly because I'd done it before and had been told the toilet was for staff only so I wasn't expecting to use it. I expressed the report and they refused to pay me, so you're best off not bothering
Also, you can reschedule online which is always the best way to do it as long as there are other dates available.0 -
I don't mind the RA health shop ones, not a great premium but I use the products I get from them. I wouldn't travel out of my way for them though.
They do drive me mad a bit with their phone calls but refusal to increase the premium at all. Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

I understand that reimbursement only shops are treated as payment in kind so I can't claim purchase expenses (except the usual mileage, paper and ink etc). My question is can I claim the VAT that I pay on the test purchase as an expense.
Test purchase.
A shirt at a cost of £20. Reimbursed £20 by MS agency. Can I claim the 20% VAT (£4) I paid on the shirt as an expense. My way of looking at this is that I have already paid tax on the shirt so if I pay 20% income tax then HMRC are having two bites of the same cherry.
Seems a strange question to ask but if I don't ask then I may be paying too much tax.
I'm no tax expert but I don't think you can claim the VAT back unless you're VAT registered.
Hopefully someone may come along with the definitive answer.0
