Well done that is a busy day. I found doing 4 reports in one go a bit of a stretch. Being nosy what was the mix of types of jobs you did? I am assuming they did not involve phone jobs. The shops are completely heaving at the moment so wouldn't fancy doing a fashion retailer.

I did two phone jobs, the longest of which lasted 6 minutes, I think their new training is being left out over Christmas.

Oh good - I volunteered my self for one next week as its near a React job I am doing. Thought given the number of MS visits this lot have had they would started to follow their processes..

Yes, they are following their new process which gets them down to 10-15 mins but just watch with the report as its been changed this month and is a little longer. Also, they might be getting faster but their queues aren't

Next week, I've got my first TNS phone shop visit in over a month, hopefully I'll be in and out in 10 mins :-) at least they're paying mileage.

Well spent a bit of time googling what people think of MF - this being triggered by their banal proofreading queries this week I did on two jobs. Apparently MF are paid twenty pounds per Euro supermarket visit by the client so guess we are the mugs for doing the work. I then did some analysis of my own work with them and I got paid at best one pound and 25 pence an hour, once taking tax and fuel into account. Frankly I get paid more than that doing surveys. (Pinecone pay 3 pound a survey for 15 mins work).
Each to their own - but I will not do any more work for them. I am sure there are people happy to work for MF and good luck to you.

    Rant over

I have to say I am very choosy on which jobs I do for MF now as their pay is poor. Like others have said before if they pay peanuts then they get what they pay for thus stupid proofreading queries!!

... I have found MF fail to pay reimbursements on occasion. They somehow get lost in their system, and if you are not quick off the mark in challenging them you get told its too late for them to 'investigate' (anyone else experienced this?)

I too have noticed some banal proofreading questions recently. It seems to run in phases. Maybe its the end of an accounting period and they are under pressure to deliver margins. Might be hoping people are not around to respond, so they have an excuse not to pay shoppers.

Got to say I quite like their website, but regard them as the MS company of last resort.
    arghhh!!!
