So you had to buy 3 meals?

    No 2 meals.
Meal no 1 I got a receipt for it without asking.
Meal no 2 I just didn't get one!
Visit no 3 I walked in and just asked for a receipt for meal 2!

What a pullava! Good job they were desperate so paid a tidy premium. Visit in total was about a 45 min round trip in the car but I spent another 20 odd faffing about. Wasn't even hungry!
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Just a word to the wise for anyone looking at the MF Pizza jobs, bear in mind you'll have to call the outlet via MF's 0870 number, potentially expensive.

I saw one for my local and you now have to buy 2 meals and drinks but they only cover 1 persons mains.

I know that often the contribution will only just cover the cheapest options on what you have to order but its generally does cover that, rather than half of it.

I have to agree.....and then some.

I have been close at times but this is the first time I have audibly gasped at a MF shop . They are by some way the MS company I do most visits for but imagining a typical visit to this outlet and bearing in mind the stipulations of the brief you would be looking at a spend of close to triple the allowance which is really not fair whatever they say about 'only a contribution' etc

After a few years of enjoying RE/MF and feeling generally quite positive about their methods this has really dented my good opinion of them. I will continue as I just seem to be a good fit with them for a few reasons but I can honestly say that for the first time, even if I would have been going to that location anyway, and we do reasonably regularly, I would not have done the visit on principle. You could probably get a discount in that region simply by signing up for the company newsletter or something!

Just to finish and I know we are all different but they have a regular food/pub chain client that in terms of the visit, the brief and even the report get it just about right and if only all of their jobs could be based on that model I would be pretty happy.

Spleen vented. I am a regular reader but not contributor and ought to take this opportunity to say thanks to all who post on here as it is very helpful to me.

    Thanks, Jon. :T

I completed a job for React at lunchtime which I started to complete the report and then was going to finish it this evening at home.

React have been chasing me for the report (I thought I had submitted it in error (saying the client is chasing it). I had originally told them that I would be completing on Saturday but as I was in town I thought I would complete it today and the fieldwork date only started yesterday, so maybe their client wants it out of the way before the Christmas rush starts...

  • I think I remember seeing a post on here once that contained a link enabling you to see which visits SEQ payments were for. Been trawling for ages but cannot find it. Anybody have the link, please?

    Thanks

Anyone else found TNS has gone down? Got to the end of a particularly annoying phone report, and it won't let me submit it (502 Bad Gateway. The server returned an invalid or incomplete response.) They can FRO if they think I'm doing it again.
  • Yes, I have found that. Reports will have to wait.

TNS website seems to be working now (for me anyway). Maybe too many people submitting those awful phone reports!
